Sweet Blossom

Spring has officially started ...
And celebrating the arrival of new season with these sweet blossom !

I have been enjoying the Wilton's cake decoration classes held at Michaels. 

This ones from course II of the four. Course II is mostly working with Royal Icing.

Trying my hands in making rosebuds (my favorite) and primroses.

Hooked on Crochet

I did my high schooling at a convent school where we had this compulsory subject called "work experience". We were taught the basics of sewing, knitting and crocheting.

Not sure I enjoyed so much back then. But I certainly am hooked to crochet these days !

Thanks to my neighbor, a friend from Maldova, who is an expert in crocheting. She has done a zillion things using crochet and each of them is an amazing work. Unfortunately she hasn't shared them online.
Inspired by her work and with her guidance to start with...I restarted my crocheting and absolutely loving it :)

Colourful ....

... to describe October in one word

Its a magical month.

Its been so colourful everywhere...hardly realise the summer is gone !

After a pretty long dry patch (btw thats pretty un-usual for Seattle !), the rains have started. The cold winds have set in.  It still wouldn't take away the spirits of this month.

Its been a long while since I have posted on this blog and one of the reason is the summer travels that has kept me so busy and exciting.
It hasn't been too long since I moved to the Evergreen state of the US. Its my second summer here and the 'Things to do around' is still endless...

While I have updated my past travel experiences on this blog, with so many new places that I have been visiting each weekend, I just thought it deserves a whole new space just for the travel updates :-) - Village Traveller.
