Quilled Monogram

After my first attempt at this art, I am so captivated that my quilling love has continued !

I tried the quilling technique to decorate the letters from my daughter's name :-)
Below are details from each quilled monogram -

Can anyone help me with creating letters like that? I am making a quilling for my friend's sweet sixteen and I wanted to put a big "A" in the middle for Andrea. Any tips or instructions? You can email me at: cndbear97@aim.com
Thanks!

Hi Claire,
To start with, I first marked the boundaries (rectangle) considering the frame size.
Then draw/trace the letter - here I chose the font/style which I thought would be easier for monogram quilling...this being my first attempt !
Stick the quilling paper of appropriate thickness on the border first. Once dry, you could start filling the insides with your quilled patterns.
Hope it helps !

This is great! I was looking for the letter A for my granddaughter's name which is Amiti and to find a name so close to her's is very unexpected. Thank you for sharing and with a little practice I am going to try this.
